Experience Overview

My approach to public relations combines hands-on industry experience with a strong academic foundation in strategic communication, storytelling, and design. As a Public Relations Intern at The RealReal, I supported media outreach, trend research, sample trafficking, and the coordination of press opportunities for luxury fashion brands. This experience strengthened my understanding of brand positioning, relationship-building, and the fast-paced demands of fashion PR.

My coursework further deepened my strategic and writing skills. In Public Relations Writing, I learned to craft media pitches, press releases, fact sheets, and other key PR materials with clarity and purpose. Through Case Studies in PR, I completed comprehensive research papers analyzing major PR crises—studying how they happened, what went wrong, and the strategies organizations can use to prevent or respond to similar situations in the future. My News Writing course gave me a strong grounding in journalism, storytelling structure, and writing in AP Style, strengthening my ability to communicate with precision and professionalism. In PR Production, I created digital communication materials using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, blending strong messaging with polished, visually engaging design.

Together, these experiences have shaped a PR skill set rooted in strategy, creativity, and thoughtful communication—ready to elevate brands and connect them with their audiences in meaningful, compelling ways.
